THE PURPOSE OF CELEBRATE RECOVERY
The purpose of Celebrate Recovery at CrossCity Christian Church is to encourage mutual support and to celebrate God’s healing power in our lives as we apply the 8 Recovery Principles and 12 Steps. We are changed as we share our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God’s grace and forgiveness in solving life’s problems.
By working through the principles we grow spiritually, and we are freed from our hurts, hang-ups, and habits. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, stronger personal relationships with others and with our personal, loving, and forgiving Higher Power—Jesus Christ.
WHO IS IT FOR?

THE ROAD TO RECOVERY
Same as inside right on sample, but without the numbers (the RECOVERY acrostic should stand out clearly)
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time; accepting hardship as a pathway to peace; taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; trusting that You will make all things right if I surrender to Your will; so that I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with You forever in the next. Amen. –Reinhold Niebuhr
