Important Updates

Due to the COVID-19 health emergency

October 16, 2020

Hello CrossCity, we have now gathered in person for four weekends, and it has been amazing! We are still continuing to provide many options for you so you can participate in the service, while still feeling safe. Scroll down to see our reopening details.  We’re looking forward to seeing many of you (and the friends/family you will be inviting) this weekend either online OR in person, Saturday night @ 6pm or Sunday morning @ 9:15am or 11am.

This weekend Pastor David is continuing our “ESSENTIAL” teaching series, a three-part series unpacking why it is essential for Christians to have a church family to call home during uncertain times. This weekend he will be talking about your true identity in Christ. You can access the handout we are making available this weekend by clicking the “Who I Am In Christ” graphic below.

As a spiritual next step from our ESSENTIAL teaching series… before and after each service this weekend we will be providing an opportunity for you to connect with CrossCity ministry leaders to explore ways for you to connect deeper through Serving on a Team and Connecting in a Group.

Another spiritual next step is membership. Church is more than a building we go to. It’s a family that we belong to. Join Pastor David for this special evening. RSVP HERE, by clicking the graphic below or with the CrossCity App.

We have been asked to participate in the Old Town Clovis Farmer’s Market Trunk-Or-Treat on Friday, October 30th. Let’s show the city of Clovis some love by providing the best trunk or treat they have ever had. Please SIGN UP TO PROVIDE YOUR DECORATED CAR or if you are unable to provide your car please consider donating bags of individually wrapped candy to the church for this event. DEADLINE: OCTOBER 28TH

Did you miss Pastor David’s video on how and why we are regathering in person? Here it is!

One of the biggest differences you will notice this weekend is that we have removed the stage and shade structure from our Courtyard. However, we will be providing a shaded outdoor worship venue near our baptismal/amphitheater, for those who LOVE being outside.

The Conference Room in the Kids Building is designated as a “Safe Zone,” providing an alternative venue to watch the service. Masks and temperature checks are required to enter.

We encourage you to take advantage of our sanitation stations throughout the campus, and rest easy knowing that our Facilities Team is cleaning our buildings before, between and after each service.

Finally, we are asking for you to leave several seats in the Worship Center between you and other families this weekend to create appropriate spacing.

Family Lounge – is located near the north entrance of the Worship Center. We created this space for young families to tend to the needs of their little ones without missing the service. Masks recommended.
Nursery – The Nursery is open with temperature checks and “no touch”    check-in. All space and toys disinfected between services.
Preschool through 6th grade – “Cohorts” (groups of 14 w/2 leaders) are meeting during services. Temperature checks and “no touch” check-in  in the foyer of the Kids Building. Kids drop-off and pick up in their regular classrooms.
