Brent Deffenbacher

Biography
For the past 20 years Brent Deffenbacher has been serving in full time vocational ministry through the local church. Brent received a Business degree from Azusa Pacific University and his masters from Fresno Pacific University where he now serves as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Business. As a sought after communicator who speaks at camps and conferences, Brent will be joining the weekend teaching team with Pastor David in addition to serving as the Discipleship & Teaching Pastor at CrossCity. When Brent’s wife Amy isn’t working at Fresno Christian Schools, you will see her and their two children Blake and Paige joyfully serving and doing life throughout the CrossCity community.
Favorite Sport?
Growing up in Portland Oregon it was all about basketball (Go Blazers) and soccer (Go Timbers) …but within the past decade I’ve jumped on the college football band wagon (Go Ducks). As a 40 something Dad I now love hanging out on our boat with my family and golfing when it’s not 100 degrees here in Fresno.
Favorite Vacation Spot?
Bass Lake, CA. My wife Amy grew up spending summers at her families cabin at Bass Lake, which is where I asked her to marry me on the 4th of July surrounded by family and friends. The fireworks over the water of Bass Lake on the 4th of July = Summer Vacation Paradise!
Favorite Local Restaurant?
My newest sister-n-law Britney works at Pismo’s in River Park …so I’d say that’s my favorite restaurant because I get to support a locally owned business and spend time with family. And oh yeah… the food is pretty legit.
