Biography

Jimmy absolutely loves CrossCity! Part of the reason he loves CrossCity so much is because it’s his home church. He was born and raised in this church, has interacted with the CrossCity community all his life, and has grown exponentially in his spiritual life here. When he graduated from high school, he was presented with the opportunity to serve in the Jr High Group. After a year of leading the group, Pastor David asked if he would be interested in attending Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO. He had never heard of the school, or Joplin, MO, but he knew without a doubt that this was what God wanted him to do with his life. The next four years were some of the best of his life, and he couldn’t be more appreciative of Pastor David’s encouragement and belief in a young kid still wet behind the ears.

While living in Joplin, attending Ozark, he found and married the most beautiful girl in the world, Megan. They moved back to Clovis to begin serving together at CrossCity, as the leaders of the Jr High Group. After 10 years of youth ministry, he was asked to head up the Weekend Services and Communications Ministry at the church. It was a total change, but it was also going to be a new adventure. jimmy is a total tech nerd, so it’s a perfect fit.
