What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them?  Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food.  If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?  In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”

James 2:14-17

Service within the Church

Serving during the weekend services or in another ministry during the midweek is a great way to support the Mission and Vision of CrossCity Christian Church, but also a fantastic way to get connected and to meet more people.  If you are interested in getting involved in service around campus, we’d invite you to check out our Serve Tour, which is an opportunity to learn about ways to serve on the weekend as well as receive a “behind the scenes” tour of the church.  We rely on hundreds of volunteers every weekend to serve within the church, and we need you!  Click here to sign up for the next Serve Tour.

Serve the Community

When we serve others, two things happen – needs are met, and we grow.  Service to the community is a way that we can tangibly show the love of Christ to the world, to be the light as He commanded (Matthew 5:14).

Our church supports many local, regional, national, and global outreaches and organizations to spread the love of Christ throughout the world.  If you’d like to partner with our Missions Team, you can see a list of our local events and sign up to serve by following this link.

You can learn more about our GPS:Missions Team by attending one of our Go:Missions classes.  Please RSVP here.
