David Reynolds
Pastor of the 2nd Half
Biography
David was raised by two wonderful parents. His dad was a pastor (for 64 years). Music was the core of his family. They sang everywhere they went in the car. It is where he honed his harmony skills. Being the 4th of 6 kids, he learned early how to share and never expect anything in return. 🙂 He went to Ozark Christian College and graduated with an Associate Music degree in 1977, Bachelor of Music Ministry in 1981 (He was the first vocal major at OCC). He began his ministry at Christ’s Church of the Valley (formerly West Covina Church Of Christ) and learned ministry and grew to love being part of a local fellowship (they had moved a lot growing up). He finished his Masters in Music Ed @ Azusa Pacific University in 2003. He has done music ministry in San Dimas, CA; Boulder, CO; Fresno, CA; Lexington, KY; back to San Dimas, CA; and now back to Fresno. He came to CrossCity because David Rutherford called and asked him to come to do music and then eventually work with Senior Adults. So here he is, love CrossCity and love the ministry he does. He feels blessed to work with the people he works with. His life has been about ministry, and he loves being able to continue what he loves most, doing ministry with people he loves deeply.
